Hello! My name is Celestina and I founded this company at the end of 2022. I've always wanted to own my own business and late last year I realized it was time to take a leap of faith for my family and especially for the legacy I want to leave for my children to always pursue their dreams.

As a mother of two, I want products for my children that are safe, natural, and allow them to revel in the awe and wonder of life. We all know the struggle of sensory overwhelm with bright, noisy, flashy toys and don't want our children to get obsessed with screen time. Like many mothers, I am constantly looking for toys and products that are educational and inspire my children's innate creativity and imaginations. So, I decided to start my business by creating products for children that do just that.

​Our name, mon petit bean, is a mixture of French and English meaning "my little bean." Our name and logo is a precious representation of our family. I speak English and my husband grew up mostly speaking French thus the mix in languages in our name. I also lovingly call our children variations of "beans" including "my little beans", "my belly beans", "my beanie beans" and so many more.

We are a US based, Mom owned, and minority owned small business. We hope you and your children will enjoy our products as we continue to launch more products not just for our little "beans" but products for Mamas too. Mamas have the hardest and best jobs on earth and I'm so very passionate about supporting moms in any way I can. Therefore, my desire is to provide products that bring joy and nourish the minds, hearts and souls of Mamas and their little beans.
